Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Communication and Change Manager on a contract for 6 months with 2x6 months extension option.
Position Overview
You have a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and co-operatively with staff and their managers to deliver engaging, timely and relevant communications and change management activities.
Your experience driving innovative communication and change concepts across large government and service delivery organisations will be critical in this role.
_Deliver effective communication and change management services including:_
- Strategic change management support for large transformation projects within the Agency.
- Management of various routine and urgent communication products designed to support operational leaders and staff in delivering quality customer outcomes.
- Building communications and change capability within the Agency including knowledge and skills uplift, as well as improving stakeholder understanding of their role in change and engaging staff with authentic connection and communication.
- Cultural and organisational communications and change to support operational changes to the business across functions, processes, technology, and policy. This includes better integration of State and Territory Offices.
KEY DUTIES:
- Effectively manage communication and change aspects of large, complex programs that include technology implementation and significant business change components.
- Formulate and develop business communication and change artifacts, engage with internal and external stakeholders to support successful delivery of business change.
- Work closely with members of the different program and operational teams across the Agency to create and deliver meaningful, staff centred communications support.
- Take ownership and deliver continuous improvements and maturity levels to Agency's service delivery processes, in particular internal communications and strategies to align messaging and coordinated ways of working.
- Identify priorities, communicate effectively and support business resources in order to achieve agreed delivery objectives.
- Proactively assess and analyse any risks and issues that may impact program teams delivery and develop plans to address or otherwise mitigate them;
- Maintain productive relationships and ongoing liaison with internal and external stakeholders;
- Work in an agile, fast paced environment and be highly responsive to managing changing priorities and urgent requirements for senior leaders.
