The Opportunity
Our Service Planning Portfolio has an exciting opportunity to add to our School Network Planning team.

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Support the prioritisation of infrastructure projects to support population growth including the expansion of existing schools and new schools.
  • Assist in the preparation of correspondence, reports, and briefings for senior internal and external stakeholders and governance bodies.
  • Assist in the preparation of detailed analysis of school and population growth trends and communicate outcomes from this analysis.
  • Contribute to the development of business cases to support major infrastructure investments over the short, medium and long term.

To be successful as a Planning Officer, you will possess:

  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a high performing team and establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate information to a range of different stakeholders including the use of data to support recommendations as required.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and objectives within tight timeframes.
