Your new Organisation


You will be working for one of the largest Infrastructure organisations in Australia, they specialise in multiple industries and employ across each state.

They are offering an excellent role for a Sydney or Melbourne based Payroll Manager to build and develop the current Payroll Department.

Your new role

You will be reporting directly into the Head of Payroll and will be completing the below tasks:

  • Manage the End to End Weekly Payroll process
  • Review in detail the Payroll function of employees
  • Manipulate data through SAP and ensure a smooth Payroll process
  • Manage a large team of 15 Payroll staff
  • Ensure all compliance and legislation is in place to government standards
  • Process payroll in all states across Australia and NZ
  • Payroll projects and development
  • Assist with any reporting to the wider business
  • Assist with the T+A system review and development
  • Discuss processes and reports to senior stakeholders
  • Work alongside HR and Finance to ensure all businesses coordinate together
  • EOFY and EOM Reporting
  • Provide detailed updates and training to staff members
  • Assist with any complex queries
  • Distribute tasks to your management group
  • Assist with any adhoc duties
What you need to succeed


You must have experience in a previous role as a Payroll Manager, be able to manage an process a large Payroll of employees.

Preferably experience in infrastructure or Energy / communications would be preferred. SAP experience would also a bonus.
