Our Controls and Customer Outcomes (CCO) team, part of the Retail Bank, works towards implementing sustainable improvements in business practices to deliver superior results for customers, shareholders, and the community. This is achieved by focusing on preventing, detecting, and responding to issues, as well as integrating and sustaining changes within the business.
Join Our Team:
The Control Assurance Manager will lead the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the automated control assurance framework for Retail Banking Services (RBS) Line 1 teams. The Risk Insights & Reporting team ensures the presence of robust controls and well-informed, timely decisions. Their role involves providing end-to-end risk and control services, effective design and implementation of controls, and ensuring operational risk and compliance frameworks are properly integrated.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting RBS in designing and implementing automated controls for improved risk and compliance outcomes.
- Ensuring effective design of automated controls for new processes, assisting in their implementation.
- Assisting in developing a continuous assurance model.
- Conducting and managing Control Assurance Program (CAP) testing, reporting findings.
We're Looking for Individuals with:
- Relevant experience in banking or financial services with a strong operational risk management background.
- Excellent influencing and consulting skills, capable of building relationships at all levels.
- Ability to analyze risks, identify opportunities, and suggest appropriate actions.
- Experience in auditing IT General Controls and Application controls, with expertise in areas like IT security and software development.
- Strong analytical skills, using data-driven insights to solve problems and achieve desired outcomes.
- Leadership capabilities to foster a positive team environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
