Details:
- The Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) is a government body responsible for regulating the building and construction industry in the state of Queensland, Australia.
Your Role:
- Develop and manage program plans, timelines, and budgets for multiple highpriority projects simultaneously
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to project teams to ensure timely delivery of project outcomes
- Monitor program performance and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
- Proactively identify potential issues and work with the team to develop and implement appropriate solutions
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation, including executive leadership, business partners, and crossfunctional teams
About You:
- Demonstrated project management experience and proven ability to successfully drive, coordinate and implement large, complex projects using a collaborative, transparent, contemporary approach.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, interpersonal, and communications skills (both written and verbal). Ability to communicate and elicit cooperation at all levels, including technical staff, management, and external parties. Excellent negotiation, report writing and presentation skills.
- Possess well developed time management skills and demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and a diverse range of activities, with conflicting priorities, and meet deadlines. Ability to drive meetings and effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a highpressure environment.
- Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problemsolving capabilities. Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
- Motivates individuals and creates a culture where people want to 'go the extra mile'. Focuses strongly on the achievement of results, and builds a cohesive and supportive team environment.
