A Day in the Life

  • This role will be responsible for working across Group Technology to identify, quantify and manage risks to drive the desired business and compliance outcomes. This will include understanding and assisting the Technology team in prioritising riskrelated activities to prevent and manage impacts on the confidentiality, availability and integrity of all PEXA platforms.


This role will also be responsible for maintaining metrics as they relate to the Group Technology risk environment, including maintenance of the Group Technology risk profile.

This role will play a key role in liaising with the PEXA GRC team to manage expectations and deliverables for Group Technology.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Actively championing and driving meaningful risk management and culture within Group Technology
  • Creating, maintaining and owning activities as it relates to the Technology risk profile within the GRC system
  • Work collaboratively across Group Technology to make recommendations on controls and priorities to reduce risk and enhance the PEXA platform experience.
  • Work collaboratively with business stakeholders outside of Technology to quantify and prioritise risk reduction activities within Group Technology
  • Manage and maintain open and new actions as identified by the Risk and Compliance councils/committees to ensure agreed actions are appropriately prioritised and updated or completed in a timely manner.
  • Regular risk updates at weekly, monthly and quarterly risk forums including to executive team and board members.
  • Predicting future trends that may affect the Group Technology risk profile
  • Assist in coordinating activities that relate to regulatory compliance and other assurance activities.
  • Develop and deliver reports and metrics related to Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to accurately track risk reduction within Technology.

Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to deliver multiple initiatives/projects simultaneously and autonomously with a sense of urgency;
  • Polished written and oral communicator across management and executive levels of the organisation;
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite incl. Visio;
  • Proficiency in using GRC systems; and
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and industry certifications will be highly considered
