The Role

The applicant needs to be a caring person who is passionate about helping others, as a large focus of the orderly role involves patient transport and interaction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Transporting patients, equipment and courier items around the hospital.
- Providing support and assistance, under the direction of a Registered Nurse or other clinical staff.
- Provide a high level of customer service to patients, visitors and staff.
- Contribute to the team, cooperate and communicate.
- Performs cleaning duties, waste management & maintains cleanliness of equipment.
You will also have:
- Flexible working availability as will be scheduled over a 7day roster.
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to take direction.
- Sound communication skills, proficient in written and spoken English.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role.
