One of Australia's Federal Government Agency is looking to engage several Complaints & Reportable Officers to join their team, assessing and monitoring complaints and manage reportable incidents and other regulatory intelligence. The successful candidates can be based from any of their offices Australia wide and will be offered an initial contract until May 2026 plus extensions and rewarding lucrative rates

The successful Complaints & Reportable Officers must have the following:

  • Manage and resolve a caseload of complaints & reported incidents including assessing moderately complex complaints & incidents and contributing to regulatory activities, including conciliations
  • Monitor incoming reports to ensure high-risk or complex complaints/ incidents are escalated to be dealt with expeditiously and escalate any delays or workflow obstacles to line managers and managers.
  • Support the education and training function in identifying complaints & incidents, preventing and effectively responding to abuse, and neglect of people with disability and information about the agency's complaints & reportable incidents handling function
  • Contributing to a learning culture where expertise can be developed and appropriately shared.

The successful Complaints & Reportable Officers must have the following:

  • Previous experience in accessing & monitoring caseloads of complaints, reported incidents or claims to a high standard.
  • The ability to communicate well with, relate to and see issues from the perspective of people from a diverse range of cultures, backgrounds and experiences.
  • Liaise regularly with managers as to the management of caseload.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation and policy frameworks.
  • Contribute to supporting and building capability in a team environment through input in team and national forums.
