We've been engaged by a large Australian financial institution to provide resources to their upcoming Murex Binary Upgrade project.

This Bank is considering moving from Current Murex version 42 to latest higher version ( V56 or 58) to include changes Majorly impacting the Collateral / Market Risk / Credit Risk/ Ops and settlement functionalities and modules.

There are also some impacts in MX technical areas , Reporting and EODs.
We require an experienced Murex Senior Credit Risk Consultant as a part of this upgrade project

Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinating model validation activities for credit risk/market risk
  • Has strong analytical and problem solving skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with business users and the vendor
  • Works closely with Risk & MO users in understanding requirements to build new CR functionality
  • Often works individually in resolving issues, and in coming up with and delivering solutions that meet Risk & MO requirements
  • Analyses and resolves issues related to system configuration, Credit Risk, limits management, interfaces, etc
  • Escalates identified issues / risks in a timely manner to IT and Business managers
  • Provides detailed information about issues to the vendor, and co-ordinates with them in testing fixes / solutions
  • Acts as an intermediary between business and vendor
  • Is able to assist in resolving issues around general system configuration, User Groups, Access Rights, Portfolios, etc

We are currently working with a well-known financial services organization in Australia who are using Calypso V16 as a front to back office system for Fixed income, IR derivatives business.

You will be involved in streamlining their global end-of-day process, revising market data solution, coordination with all upstream / downstream interfaces.

This role provides good opportunity for any capital markets BA / PM to utilize their skills in a complex multi-year project, provide broad understanding of complete EOD process for a global financial institution and exposure to all the modules in Calypso as a trading platform as well as collateral system.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team of BA / QA who is working on building global EOD process replacing current region-specific process.
  • Formulate the critical path and optimize eod scheduling tool where needed coordinate with stake holders from Product control, Risk and regulatory platforms

An opportunity for a senior BA to be a part of the Clear Star Program, which is a multi-year roadmap of work for the Derivatives Clearing business.

Derivatives clearing operates critical financial market infrastructure to meet public interest mandates in reducing systemic risk and to meet the needs of a diverse set of market participants.

The overall objective of the Program is to upgrade, modernise and re-platform critical Derivatives Clearing technology that are nearing end of life, find new growth opportunities, and pivot the business to be relevant for its customers with futureproof adaptive delivery frameworks.


Responsibilities:

The role is responsible for assessing new concepts against current systems and procedures, analysing stakeholder needs from and end-to-end perspective, engaging internal and external clients through various facilitation techniques and mediums, and providing high quality, fit for purpose business analysis artefacts - including, but not limited to, business requirements, user stories with clear acceptance criteria, functional specifications, business process models and interface and impact analysis documents.


Responsibilities:

  • Work with impacted stakeholders to perform deep dives and discovery on the As-Is state of derivative clearing systems, allowing for effective review by project team members and impacted stakeholders
