How you'll contribute: Road Maintenance Workers are our critical front-line resources delivering the VRMC Services.Working under the direction of our Supervisors, in crews of 2-4 people, Road Maintenance Workers are accountable for: Performing Rapid Response to incidents and emergencies across the network Carrying out scheduled routine servicing and hazard and defect rectification works for pavements, bridges and other structural assets, and all roadside assets (barriers, signage, vegetation) Completing all works in line with Section 750 PB requirements, with a strong focus on safety, quality and efficiency Recording works-related data in the field, in line with work instructions, ensuring accuracy and completeness You'll also participate in daily pre-start and shift-close meetings, contributing ideas for changes and improvements in work practices to enhance safety and efficiency About You: You'll have at least 12 months' experience working as part of a crew maintaining pavements, bridges and other structural assets, and/or roadside assets (barriers, signage, vegetation).
