About the Role
Service Stream is seeking a skilled Network Inspector to join our team in Victoria. As a Network Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our road network.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and assess the condition of pavement and roadside assets to ensure compliance with Section 750 PB requirements and contract specifications.
- Upload inspection data to IRIS (Service Stream's Intelligent Road Information System) in a timely and accurate manner.
- Identify hazards requiring urgent rectification and raise work orders in IRIS, liaising with the Pre-Works team to prioritize rectification.
- Perform or coordinate make-safes for hazards requiring urgent rectification, remaining on-site as required.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of inspection procedures and processes, including inspection data collection and management processes.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have at least five years' experience in a road maintenance or civil works environment, including at least two years' experience carrying out inspections of bridges and other structural assets on state or local road networks.
You will be a committed team player who drives for service excellence and continuous improvement, demonstrating a track record of carrying out inspections with a relentless focus on worker, road user, and community safety.
You will have high levels of self-motivation, exceptional time-management skills, and a proven ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
A current Victorian driver's license is mandatory, and Level 1 Structures Inspector accreditation will be highly regarded.
