We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our organisation. Reporting to the Group Manager, Digital Strategy & Transformation and working alongside dedicated, energised, and passionate team members, this role will be responsible for overall execution of a critical strategic program, including governance, prioritisation, roadmapping, planning, change management, communications, stakeholder management and program team leadership. In addition, you will be an active participant in lean program and project management capability uplift, as well as a champion of broader organisational business agility transformation activities.

About our role

You will be responsible for:

  • Establishing program structures including project governance, schedule management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Developing and maintaining an execution plan that collates and communicates the vision for program objectives, desired outcomes and success measures.
  • Understanding the strategic and operational objectives for the Program Roadmap and ensure that decisions are continually assessed against these objectives.
  • Developing and managing a benefits realisation plan outlining the benefits and targets and in accordance with the pipeline of initiatives.
  • Defining and communicating project and risk management processes, and in particular, guidance for decision making processes, including prioritisation criteria.
  • Overseeing delivery of key Roadmap activities including the end-to-end program execution approach, prioritisation of value, change management and other planned activities.
  • Overseeing the management of project risks and managing the requirements of the program investment.
  • Identifying and addressing opportunities to constantly improve project processes and structures.
  • Playing a leading role in refining the relationship between the program team and related digital delivery teams, including resource planning and dependency management.

About you

As well as passion for community, you will bring the following:

  • Demonstrated experience (5+ years) facilitating the implementation of transformation project/s, preferably involving digital technology or cybersecurity
  • Experience in managing project governance, risk, financial forecasting and reporting
  • Experience working in agile business environments at scale
  • Experience presenting complex information in accessible formats for a variety of audiences, in both oral and written forms
  • Experience in managing change impacts for multiple large stakeholder cohorts over a sustained period
  • Demonstrated experience managing and leading a team to achieve results
  • History in delivering large scale, complex or digital transformation programs of work
  • Have or willing to obtain an employee Working With Children's Check
