Based in South Melbourne, we work with a range of clients across government, non-profit and ethical private industries. We are full-service - including public relations, advertising, content, research, design, and production.

About the role


You will design communications research programs, conduct in-depth interviews, workshops and other human-centered design processes as well as conduct thematic analysis.

You will work closely with teams across the agency to develop and present reports to disseminate research findings to internal stakeholders and clients.


Responsibilities:

Some of the things you'll be doing in this role:

  • Lead the design and delivery of research projects across the Think HQ group by:
  • Designing research programs utilising innovative data gathering and engagement techniques
  • Preparing reports including key insights and recommendations for clients.
  • Facilitating focus groups, workshops, semistructured interviews and other techniques
  • Preparing discussion guides
  • Conducting qualitative analyses
  • Contribute to the thought leadership of the agency by generating and presenting insight relevant to our work and clients.
  • Partnering with the Client Services team to present findings and recommendations to clients
  • Creating and maintaining research and recruitment processes and documentation, which comply with ISO standards.
  • Proactively manage recruitment by screening participants, overseeing correspondence, managing consent forms and incentive programs.
  • Contribute to business development activities as required.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams to support excellent client outcomes.
  • Consistently champion and showcase innovative and humancentered research approaches and methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a related field or equivalent industry experience
  • Experience in qualitative research, stakeholder / community engagement and/or humancentered research and design processes
  • Attention to detail, organisation, ability to prioritise and great time management
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions
  • Great oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • A personal interest in social impact and change.
