It all starts with a YESAt Optus, our big goal is to become the favorite brand for Australians in their everyday lives.As the Portfolio Test Manager, your role involves supervising the delivery of performance, automation, and testing services for all projects under the Optus Test Management Office (TMO). You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of Optus IT solutions and that they meet the business's technical and commercial requirements.In this new position, you will collaborate with vendors and project partners to make sure that performance and automation test activities on TMO projects align with Optus IT standards. With your exceptional customer service abilities, you will be the main contact point for test teams, providing expert performance, automation, and consultation services.You thrive on enhancing test tools, processes, and infrastructure for continuous improvement, and you are passionate about boosting the efficiency and effectiveness of TMO test services.Your Skills:
  • Collaborate with project resources for end user setup, tool usage inquiries, and training support
  • Establish and communicate guidelines for test tool usage and ensure audit compliance
  • Develop and report test metrics using data from test tools
  • Stay updated on evolving changes in test tools and share knowledge with colleagues
  • Manage 'test tools' support services and ensure service providers meet SLAs
  • Explore test tools for enhancing quality, test coverage, and reducing manual effort and costs
Technical Skills Required:
  • IT or related tertiary qualification
  • ISTQB/ISEB Certification
  • Proficient in Java, NodeJS, web services, IDE tools, mobile and web test automation & performance testing frameworks
  • Extensive experience in virtualization, Test tool management, Automation, and Performance technologies
  • Expertise in test tools and technical framework design (e.g., ALM QC/PC, JIRA, Tricentis Neoload, Microfocus LRE Selenium, Jenkins)
  • Proficient in monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Elastic search & Kibana, APM
  • Knowledge of Microsoft and Unix/Linux operating systems
