The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Testing Analyst, permanent full time role within Advanced Analytics & Insights divison.

he primary purpose of the role is to assist in undertaking a range of testing processes for the planning, execution, issue resolution and reporting of testing outcomes prior to implementation into the operating environment.

Your role will include

  • Assist in the preparation of administrative requirements to ensure a coordinated approach to planning and undertaking testing including meeting with users for Acceptance Testing.
  • Assist in defining testing scope and activities including contributing to the preparation of test cycle plans, test plans and test schedules.
  • Assist in undertaking a range of test procedures including the recording of activities and results, the logging of results in a range of testing tool systems and the communication of results to the Manager and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure support is provided for meetings with contract providers, transport operators and other stakeholders including documenting all agreed action plans to enable informed decision making and follow by the Manager

About you
To be successful in the role

  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications or demonstrated, relevant, equivalent professional experience
  • Possess knowledge of Azure DevOps, SharePoint, or similar Test Management tools.
  • Have experience in automated testing involving SQL scripts or Python and building test cases would be preferable.
  • Possess knowledge of Test Management tools, Confluence, SharePoint, and JIRA
  • Will be involved in all phases of testing and required to assist in definition of test requirements, estimation, planning and execution
  • An understanding of the Data domain will be preferred
  • An understanding of Agile and Waterfall Methodology followed within the IT Industry
  • Experience with Cloud Technologies preferably Azure
  • Strong sense of ownership with a passion for testing, delivering data quality and data products.
  • Experience in preparing and execution of test documents, testing estimates and test reports to track progress
  • Possess good communication and numeracy skills
  • Be highly selfmotivated, flexible, adaptable and results oriented

Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is TfNSW Grade 7 ($108, $121, per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
