About the Role

We are seeking a Business Support Officer to join the Governance Legal and Risk Services Team on a part time basis, two days per week, working Thursdays and Fridays.

Working alongside the Legal Operations Manager the Business Support Officer will work independently and proactively to provide effective, efficient and comprehensive administrative support and coordination.


Key responsibilities of the role will include the following:

  • Manage and prepare reports and other documentation
  • Ensure information is accurately entered into record management system
  • Administer basic financial transactions
  • Prioritise issues on behalf of management and other staff
  • Diary management and scheduling of meetings
  • Provide guidance and assistance to other team members
About You

  • Senior administration experience within a large and complex organisation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to develop and maintain strong and cooperative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Superior organisational and timemanagement skills with an ability to manage and coordinate a range of office functions and projects
  • Ability to work proactively, with mínimal supervision and direction and as part of a team
  • Ability to source and analyse information to develop professional documents and reports
  • Exceptional computer literacy skills particularly in Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate and manage business improvements
