The Material Risk Lead works in partnership with the Material Risk Chapter in the Woolworths Group and is responsible for Material Risk Work across the B2 B and Everyday needs ecosystem.


What you'll do:

Bring to life technical subject matter expertise and operational application to help the business navigate legislative requirements to eliminate/reduce our risks to enable business strategy Inspire a culture of continuous improvement by actively seeking opportunities to improve and simplify the Safety Management System, tools and practices in collaboration with the group ecosystem Simplify and transform the review and improvement of key risk controls to manage life threatening risks in the business by harnessing digital and data lead tools and analysis Play a meaningful role in developing Safety, Health and Wellbeing Risk Management understanding and application Partner deeply with leaders, Group Safety and Industry to deeply understand our Serious Incidents focused on preventing recurrence Drive innovation within the ecosystem to influence change initiatives through the leadership spine What you'll bring: Qualifications in WH&S10 years experience in a Risk Management roles Experience managing and influencing external and internal stakeholders Change Management Leadership and coaching through influence Excellent knowledge of safety & health legislation Experience in multi site operations is desirable What you'll experience The opportunity to grow within the group Strong mentorship and development; opportunity to collaborate with some of the brightest and best minds in Australia Hybrid working opportunities Unparalleled growth opportunities Get your Woolies worth through team member benefits across all of our brands Everyone belongs at Woolworths Group Diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging are key to realising our purpose of better together for a better tomorrow.
