JOB PURPOSE

We are looking a Team Lead to manage a Fund team (Real Estate & Private Equity) and to encompass all facets of the calculation of net asset values on a variety of funds.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Your role will encompass all facets of the calculation of net asset values on a variety of funds.

Working closely with supervisors and/or assistant managers, your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintains relationship with daily client contact; being proactive and keep Team Lead updated on any potential issues identified during the processing of the information provided by the client.
  • Gain a good understanding of the client business and keep senior staff updated on any potential issues identified during the processing of the information provided by the client
  • Accounting & analysis:
  • Maintain the general ledger and various subledgers
  • Prepare financial statements, footnotes and partner capital statements
  • Prepare investor allocations
  • Prepare trial balances and work paper product
  • Involved within a full scope of transaction activities including full cycle accounting
  • Coordination and preparation of monthly Instalment Activity Statements ("IAS") and monthly or quarterly Business Activity Statements ("BAS")
  • Review funds' partnership agreements, trust deeds and PPM's and other documents
  • Operate as a contact point for clients; able to respond to and resolve queries or escalate where necessary
  • Participate in the implementation of fund structures into the accounting system
  • Act as a liaison with various internal /external parties i.e. auditors, legal counsel, Investment Management companies
  • Ad hoc duties as and when required.

JOB SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree holder with recognized accounting qualification or business related disciplines
  • Minimum 6 years relevant experience in professional firms or multinationals
  • Experience in Investran as added advantages
  • Pursuing Professional qualifications in CA or CPA
  • Experience in accounting/tax/banking procedures
  • Sound knowledge of local accounting practices
  • Good command of both spoken and written English
