Our client has a proud history spanning over 100 years as the market leader and premier supplier of quality flour-based products for the domestic market and for export.

This iconic brand is committed to supplying products and services to customers that meets and exceeds their expectations. The business has two production sites and head office is based at Bendigo in regional Victoria.

THE ROLE

A vacancy has arisen for a Key Account Manager to service the existing loyal customer base and to acquire new business in regional Victoria.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively service the existing customer base in the designated territory;
  • Identify and develop new opportunities to expand and grow the customer base;
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure longterm growth;
  • Work actively to achieve performance targets.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Demonstrated sales success in the food sector;
  • Highly developed communication and relationship building skills with the ability to engage at all levels;
  • Prior knowledge of baking is highly desirable but is not essential;
  • Knowledge of the grain or agricultural sector would be highly regarded;
  • Computer literacy and business acumen.

LOCATION

Flexible within the territory which will extend from northern suburbs of Melbourne, south to Geelong and west to Ballarat and Bendigo VIC.
