This high performing NFP Education organisation is currently looking for a proactive Finance Officer to join their close knit finance team based in the inner suburbs of Melbourne. This role reports to the Head of Finance, having dynamic work culture, offering career progression and a fantastic work life balance.

Role Details

Reporting to a the Head of Finance you will be coordinating your work across different stakeholders key responsibilities will include:

  • Process daily receipt from all bank accounts
  • Process all EFTPOS and credit card receipts.
  • Upload all debtor charges in Synergetic.
  • Preparation of fee statements to all families.
  • Process International Student fees with compliance processes
  • Generate invoices for all sundry debtors and reconcile sundry debtorâs ledger
  • Process monthly late fee charges on relevant debtor accounts and follow up promptly by phone for all overdue accounts.
  • Process standard journals, where appropriate.
  • Process adjustments and credits for new students and withdrawals.
  • Ensure correct treatment of GST for all transactions.

    What experience will you have:

    • Minimum experience of 3 years in the AR domain
    • Analytic approach, problem solving skills, accuracy and attention to detail
    • Synergetic experience is ideal
    • Prior experience in the NFP Education domain is preferred
    • Should be a Permanent Resident/ Australian Citizen
