We are looking for someone who is excited to promote and support a safe and positive work culture. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act, Safety Regulations and have an ability to assist in identifying and implementing strategies to mitigate or respond to safety related risks and incidents.
As a Safety & Field Support Officer for ARI you will be part of the ARI Business Services team. You will be delivering a range of critical functions that ensures ARI achieve a safe working environment, both on and off site. The Safety & Field Support Officer is responsible for supporting field and other Institute staff with respect to vehicles, field equipment and processes and some aspects of safety administration.
You will be expected to build and maintain strong working relationships with ARI staff and DEECA stakeholders.
You will be required to have strong organisational skills with the ability to work to tight and often conflicting deadlines.

Highly Desirable

ï· Good working knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act, Safety Regulations and Safety and Wellbeing policies, procedures and processes

ï· Familiarity with field safety systems.

ï· Qualifications or experience in safety management, quality assurance or risk management is desirable.
