This HR Advisor role is a great opportunity to proactively partner with leaders of the business to provide expert advice and support on a broad generalist remit. In addition, you will also mitigate potential escalations and identify opportunities to enhance leader capability and improve employee experience. Working closely with the HR Business Partner, you will join a team of collaborative professionals with opportunities for personal development and growth within the business
Your role:
- Provide expert guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to design and implement strategic HR initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement, retention, and productivity.
- Contribute to the updating and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and promote a positive work environment.
- Collaborate with the People Business Partner on HR metrics and trends, to help identify areas for improvement, and develop action plans to address them.
- Oversee various employee life-cycle tasks, including conducting exit interviews, administering HRIS data entry, and ensuring accurate personnel record management across relevant people systems.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for managers and employees on HR-related topics.
- Interpret and implement relevant industry awards and agreements across the business, supporting compliance and fairness in compensation and benefits.
About you:
- Minimum 2 years of HR generalist experience
- Experience with various HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and performance management
- Demonstrated ability in handling employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
- Exposure to strategic HR initiatives, such as workforce planning, talent management, and organisational development would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with HR Information Systems (HRIS) and software for data management and reporting

This role will provide you with the opportunity to work on a broad range of generalist HR duties. You will be responsible for managing your own workload but will have unlimited resources to call upon if required. As a result of continued growth the business will be relocating to new offices in the city over the next months.
