Job Title: Group Finance Manager

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead statutory financial reporting and drive financial strategy as Group Finance Manager at Data#3 Ltd, a leading technology company.

The Group Finance Manager will oversee the preparation of statutory financial statements, manage the external audit process, and prepare and review monthly financial results. The role will also involve educating stakeholders on financial reports, developing and maintaining accounting policies, and supporting sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the preparation of statutory financial statements and ensure timely compliance with ASX requirements.
  • Manage the external audit process, liaising with auditors and preparing detailed work papers.
  • Prepare and review monthly financial results, monitoring performance and providing insights to senior management on variances to budget.
  • Educate stakeholders on financial reports and foster financial awareness across the business.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of accounting policies, ensuring compliance with new accounting standards.
  • Support sustainability initiatives by preparing Climate Related Financial Reporting Disclosures.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting and accounting processes across the group.
Requirements:
  • At least 10 years of experience in Accounting and Finance, with a strong focus on statutory financial reporting and auditing.
  • Deep understanding of accounting standards, tax law, and compliance in publicly listed entities.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop relationships at all levels.
  • Highly analytical, with advanced financial acumen and experience using Business Intelligence tools.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proven ability to influence and negotiate.
  • Adept at managing conflicting priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Qualified with a tertiary degree in Accounting or Finance, and a professional membership to CA or CPA.
