About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR professional to join our dynamic Business Partnering team at Auto & General. As a People Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company's culture and driving strategic people decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide trusted HR guidance to frontline leaders and senior managers, ensuring seamless support and advice on HR matters.
  • Lead Tier 2 HR inquiries within assigned client groups, collaborating with specialist teams as needed.
  • Support cyclical people activities within client groups, working closely with Senior People Business Partners.
  • Maintain HRIS knowledge to troubleshoot user queries and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop subject matter expertise on HR policies/procedures and employment legislation, ensuring current and sound advice is provided.
About You
  • You are an aspiring HR generalist looking to grow into a Business Partnering role or discover what specialist area interests you.
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or relevant field.
  • 1-2+ years of HR generalist experience, including exposure to employment legislation and advisory services.
  • Ability to balance conflicting priorities within a changing environment.
  • Strong communication and administrative skills.
  • Discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism are a must.
  • Proficiency in MS applications and HR systems.
  • Team-oriented and results-focused mindset.
