City of Mandurah Recreation Centres are seeking enthusiastic andmotivated individuals to fill vacancies within the Mandurah Aquaticand Recreation Centre Swim School.

We are looking for people who enjoy working with children andwho are committed to teaching quality Learn-to Swim programs (frominfants 6 months to 4 years and up) in a safe, friendly andprofessional environment.

You must have the following key skills and experience:

AUSTSWIM or equivalent teaching qualifications or Royal Life Saving Society Teachers (RLSS) Certificate AUSTSWIM or equivalent teacher of Infant Aquatics qualification (Desirable) Previous experience in swim teaching or instruction Sound communication and customer service skills Ability to work with minimal supervision, and as a team member RLSS Resuscitation Certificate Senior First Aid Certificate (Hold current qualification or be willing to obtain) Current RLSS Bronze Medallion (Hold current qualification or be willing to obtain) Current National Police Clearance (less 6 months) and Working with Children’s Check (or willingness to obtain)

You will need to be available to work weekday morningand afternoon shifts as well as on Saturday and Sunday morningshifts.

Part-time rates of - per hour and Casual - per hour depending on qualifications and experienceplus weekend loadings, where appropriate.
