Ventia are seeking a Senior Health & Safety Advisor to join their Sydney Roads Asset Performance Contract. The successful Senior WHS Advisor will be offered a permanent full-time contract working Monday to Friday.

The Senior Health & Safety Advisor will be responsible for the implementation, monitoring and governance of Group and Sector Safety programs, systems and processes into projects whilst driving consistency in line with business and client requirements.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Implement Health and Safety objectives aligned to the strategy at the site/location level
  • Contribute to the development and execution of broader company strategies, initiatives, programs and leading Health & Safety practices
  • Delivery of programs across the site/location to ensure all project requirements are addressed
  • Maintain client specific requirements and systems including assessing client systems against Ventia requirements
  • Provide key legislative and organization updates as required
  • Inspect and evaluate workplace environments, equipment and practices, to maintain compliance with Ventia Health & Safety Management systems, legislation and other requirements

About You

  • Minimum Cert IV in Work Health & Safety
  • Drivers license and white card
  • Experienced in auditing
  • Experienced in training team members
  • Ability to work a night shift once per month
  • ICAM qualification (preferrable)
