Senior Tax Advisor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Advisor to join our Corporate Tax team at Monadelphous. As a key member of our team, you will provide strategic tax advice and guidance to senior management and the business, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tax advice and solutions to the business on all tax matters, including international tax structuring, transfer pricing considerations, and due diligence for potential acquisition opportunities.
  • Advise the CFO, Group Financial Controller, and Corporate Tax Manager on key changes in tax legislation and reporting requirements, Double Tax Agreements, and tax governance.
  • Manage the coordination and management of external tax reviews and audits, and liaise with the Australian Tax Office and foreign tax authorities as required.
  • Oversee the process for the Group's consolidated and standalone tax effect accounting calculations and financial statements.
  • Manage the annual and monthly tax compliance for the Australian and foreign companies, and coordinate with external tax advisers.
  • Prepare tax technical papers and provide technical support and guidance to the Finance and Tax team, Commercial Managers, and key internal stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • Tertiary level education and postgraduate qualification (CA, CPA, CTA or Masters of Tax).
  • 10 years experience in corporate income tax in a professional services firm or a similar role within a large company.
  • Strong technical and legislative knowledge, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and verbal communications skills.
  • Proven ability to analyse and communicate financial information in an insightful way.
