About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity to Lead the Platypus Marketing team as the Head of Marketing-Platypus.  Reporting to the  General Manager of Platypus , you will be leading a team of 4 who look after, Brand & Content across Australia and New Zealand. This is an exciting position where you will be the custodian of an iconic Australia and New Zealand Brand.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Full ownership and execution of the marketing strategy for Platypus across Australia and New Zealand Platypus brand health across AU and NZ Manage Marketing team, 2 Direct reports and 4 x reports, across Brand and Content Marketing Manager , Retail marketing Assistant and Brand and Content Marketing assistant . Manage Brand partner relationships with our brand partners. Full ownership of the Platypus Marketing Budget  Drive the Platypus brand in AU and NZ across all social media platforms. Manage internal key stakeholder relationships and deliver key outcomes to the business. Manager Retail team relationships and deliver all retail store needs, POP & instore execution. Drive the PR strategy with an external agency and direct including influencer engagement and media placement opportunities. Ensure you drive brand continuity through content creation across all key channels. Brief and direct creative requirements with internal creative team (The Agency). Implement, own and drive Key campaigns/ events from start to end including owned and sponsored events. Ensure that all Platypus marketing investments are hitting benchmarks and reporting cadences.

What we are looking for:

Demonstrated 2+ years of Head of Marketing experience Experience with a multi-branded business ideal but not a requirement. Must thrive in a fast paced environment Strong written and verbal skills. Strong retail brand background. Proficient computer skills including MC office applications. Must thrive in a fast paced environment Organised and strong attention to detail. Highly motivated and a strong ability to multi task. Positive attitude and a passionate. Experience managing direct reports An involved team player who can work collaboratively across all departments.
