Paediatric Occupational Therapist

This fixed-term Grade 1 or 2 Occupational Therapy position sits in a dynamic and diverse paediatric service, providing multidisciplinary team assessment clinics including Autism Spectrum Assessment Clinic, Developmental Assessment Clinic, Fussy Eating and Food Aversion Clinic; as well as discipline specific assessments and interventions and a range of group programs.

This role provides an opportunity to work collaboratively with a skilled and passionate multidisciplinary team developing skills across a variety of paediatric presentations. In this role the Occupational Therapist will have regular supervision with a Grade 3 Senior Occupational Therapist.

To be Successful in this Role, you will:

  • have strong assessment, clinical reasoning and treatment skills
  • have experience working in a paediatric setting
  • demonstrate a collaborative team approach to achieving positive outcomes 
  • have good communication skills and an ability to engage with children and families
