About the role
Full time and casual positions available (from January until June 2025), based in North Ryde, NSW. Reporting directly to the Team Leader, Centre for Dementia Learning, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering, assessing, and evaluating structured professional education sessions both accredited and non-accredited
- Assisting in strengthening relationships with organisations as part of the delivery process by promoting Dementia Australia programs and services
- Delivering education services both face to face at a range of locations including Aged Care Facilities, public venues and via online video conferencing platforms
- Utilising a continuous improvement approach to all tasks and initiatives, including reviewing and developing courses, ensuring programs comply with an array of professional standards and ensuring that education is delivered to the highest standard

Salary benefits: We offer all employees the opportunity to salary package up to $15,900 each year for living expenses and up to $2,650 each year for entertainment benefits.
Leave allowances: In addition to your annual leave allowance, you will receive one day paid birthday leave, paid days off during our end of year closure period (if these days fall within your regular working schedule), up to six weeks parental leave and 17.5% annual leave loading.

About you
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with the following:
- Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate field including but not limited to; allied health, nursing, leisure and lifestyle; and
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or its successor TAE40122)
OR
- Diploma or higher level qualification in adult education
- 1-2 years' hands on experience in providing support to people living with dementia.
- Demonstrated experience in the design, delivery, and assessment of adult education.
- Experience working in the health, welfare, or community sector.
- Experience and/or qualification in leadership or management.
- Demonstrates inclusive behaviour; listens, values and acknowledges others; is open and respectful to the contributions and ideas of others.
- Communicates clearly and openly with different audiences, promoting dialogue and building consensus; actively listens to others, and responds with understanding and respect.
- A formal qualification in dementia would be highly regarded.
- As this role requires frequent travel, a valid driver's licence and car is required.
