The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Manager (Digital Projects), Digital Change to join our new, global, Digital Legal Delivery practice to be based in Melbourne or Sydney. This is a 12 month maximum term contract.

As a Senior Manager within our Digital practice, you will will play a lead role on a range of digital projects bringing together multidisciplinary teams and consulting with stakeholders across the business to drive towards optimal digital solutions for the firm.

In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of digital projects, and as part of the firm's Digital Change team, they will play a major role in delivering the firm's Digital Ambition.

Your role will include:

Delivering outcomes

Lead successful teams to deliver digital projects that have a scale, positive impact on the firm: this will require the application of an analytical mindset and problem-solving approach to design and develop solutions.

Business partnering

Do this in close collaboration with projects' business owner(s) to ensure the design meets the needs of the business and identifies and addresses key risks in delivery.

Collaboration in team

As part of the senior members of the Digital Change team, proactively share best practice and support peers where expertise or experience allows. Provide support and coaching for junior members of the team, acting as escalation points for issues within projects or for more general challenges or queries.

Strategic input

Be an active participant in project governance, primarily regarding the delivery of the relevant digital projects but also to provide broader input and insights into strategic / prioritisation decisions for the team and the firm.

You will gain exposure to a wide range of blue-chip clients, innovative legal technology, global strategic projects, and best of all, work in a truly collaborative and caring culture, which is dedicated to offering an exceptional and rewarding experience to our people and clients.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Minimum of 5 years' experience in digital transformation or a related field with proven track record of leading successful digital transformation initiatives and delivering measurable business impact.

Strong understanding of legal processes and associated technology.

Demonstrable experience of leading a team to deliver successful outcomes in a complex stakeholder environment – to encompass but not limited to problem identification and solution design.

Strategic, solution focused thinker – able to balance a desire for perfection with the need to achieve progress.

Internal candidates should have a strong internal network and be well regarded by senior individuals within the firm.

Proven ability to develop a high performance team.
