The role:

This unique opportunity exists for you to take on an Assistant Accountant role where you would provided guidance to grow and develop within this role. Primarily responsible assisting our geo-analytical businesses and will be located at Gauge Circuit in Canning Vale.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities (including but not limited to)

Assist in the day to day KPI tracking of the business, assist in end of month duties, forecast and budgeting and timely financial reporting. Supporting the business through consolidated analytics, insights, gap analysis, and commentary for management reporting to support the delivery of business targets and initiatives. Financial Modelling integrating main operational and commercial drivers for the business. Establish a good working relationship with business units and providing guidance in the healthy monitoring and controlling of margin components. Provide financial reports and analysis to Operations and Commercial teams to ensure financial performance is accurately reported and easily understood. Ensure a close and effective relationship is maintained with Operations teams and other internal customers in order to achieve maximum sales and profit within the business resource allocation.

What’s needed?

Ideally you will have previous experience and the following skillsets:

Relevant business degree Ability to develop effective working relationships with stakeholders Experience with supporting managers in providing financial data analysis is highly regarded Exposure to forecasting, planning, end of month and KPI reporting is highly regarded Ability to multitask to meet deadlines and have superior organisation skills. Intermediate / Advanced Excel skills Strong analysis and problem solving skills Excellent oral & written communication skills
