Private Equity backed, Australian Health and Beauty brand is seeking a talented Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team in Sydney and spearhead their financial operations in this exciting industry.

Role Overview:

As the CFO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and driving sustainable growth for our client's company. You will be responsible for overseeing all financial functions, providing strategic guidance to the executive team, and ensuring the integrity of the financial operations. This is a hands-on role that requires a dynamic leader with strong commercial acumen and a track record of success in consumer businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute financial strategies to support the company's growth objectives.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the finance team, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with other executives to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimisation.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to ensure financial stability.
  • Evaluate and mitigate financial risks, implementing controls and processes as needed.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and board of directors on financial matters.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA)
  • Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance executive in a consumer-focused business.
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Experience working in the Health and Beauty industry is highly regarded.
