As a Supply Coordinator you will be responsible for purchasing of dry goods for Vinpac Angaston.

Here’s a snapshot of the Supply Coordinator responsibilities: 

  • Run day-to-day the Vinpac Angaston ordering for a category.
  • Manage incoming and warehouse capacity expectations effectively.
  • Keep safety stocks of top SKU’s and adjust those SKU’s accordingly in response to fluctuations for requirements.
  • Monitor all production changes as they happen, ensuring to capture movements forward or outward and amend deliveries accordingly.
  • In peak period times, manage your category including going to third party bottlers for bottling overflow.
  • Work with the team to manage quality issues and/or work with suppliers to find an acceptable resolution.
  • Take immediate action where any scheduled bottling quantities exceed forecast and liaise with Procurement Manager regarding possible increase in forecasts.
  • Involvement in the category artwork approval process for Pinnacle NPD as required.
  • Provide technical advice where required to external account managers and VI Packaging sales teams.

Now let's talk about you:

  • Ideally, purchasing or procurement experience in FMCG, within the packaging and/or wine industry will be highly regarded
  • ERP system proficiency, experience with D365 is desirable
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets skill
  • Ability to work autonomously within a team environment
  • Initiative, flexible and able to work under pressure
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Strong communication both written and verbal
  • Highly organised and efficient
  • Able to stay focused and calm in a high pressure, fast paced environment
