About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the CAMHS – Mount Gambier team as a CAMHS Clinician (Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker) where you will be responsible for:

  • Outcomes of clinical practice for children, adolescents and their families with mental health issues.
  • Ensuring optimal consumer care.
  • Act as a consultant and resource person to CAMHS, other agencies and the community by providing information and education regarding child, adolescent and family mental health.
  • Promote access and equity of services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people and their families.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Clinical experience in the treatment and management of complex child and adolescent mental health issues.
  • Knowledge of a variety of assessment and intervention models for working with children, adolescent and families.
  • Ability to work with a high degree of responsibility with limited supervision and direction.
  • Ability to communicate and work with other professionals, facilitate group functions and work as a team member.
