Women's & Children's Health Network provides state of the art health care for women, babies, children and young people across South Australia.

We are the state's leading provider of specialist care for children with acute and chronic conditions as well as being SA's largest maternity and obstetric service.


Our community-based services also reach hundreds of thousands of babies, children and young people, their families and communities across South Australia through our various services and programs in areas such as our Mental Health, Child & Family Health services, Youth Health and Aboriginal Health services.


The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) is a free community-based tertiary mental health service provided through the WCHN across South Australia, providing care to those with severe and/or complex mental health needs

CAMHS provides services to:
infants / children / young people up to in some areas) for community, statewide and hospital-based services for perinatal women.

The Opportunity


We currently have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified
AHP2/RN2C Clinician (Clinical Psychologist/Occupational Therapist/Social Worker/Clinical Nurse) to join the
CAMHS - Mount Barker team in a
Full-Time capacity on a
12-month contract.

As the
CAMHS Clinician, your duties will include;
- provide clinical expertise for children, adolescences and their families with mental health issues
- accept accountability for the outcomes of clinical practice for children, adolescences and their families with mental health issues and for addressing inconsistencies between practice and policy
- involves consultation and liaison with other professional disciplines and non-governmental organisations
- primarily provides direct expert care for an individual or group of clients and/or providing clinical leadership to multidisciplinary staff

  • Excellent interpersonal communication, liaison and presentation skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated leadership and motivational skills
