What you will do:

  • Project Management - Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Coordination - Work closely with stakeholders, including IT staff, vendors, and end-users, to define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
  • Planning - Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resources, and budget estimates.
  • Communication - Maintain clear and regular communication with project stakeholders, providing updates on progress, risks, and any changes to the project scope or timeline.
  • Risk Management - Identify potential risks and issues that could impact project success and develop mitigation strategies to minimise or eliminate those risks.
  • Implementation - Coordinate the implementation of new technologies and systems, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Documentation - Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and post-project reviews.
  • Quality Assurance - Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards and comply with organisational policies and procedures.

What you will bring:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT project management, preferably in a role involving multiple, simultaneous projects.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, email systems, and cloud-based technologies.
  • Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage projects from start to finish, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Team Collaboration: Experience working in a team environment, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and external vendors.

Bonus points if you also have:

  • Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certifications are a plus.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Customer Focus: A strong customer service orientation, with the ability to understand and anticipate the needs of end-users.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to motivate and guide teams towards achieving project goals.
