We have a new Senior Strategy Manager role available in our Digital Product Strategy and enablement team which is part of our Customer & Transformation business unit.

The opportunity

In this role, you’ll be helping to shape the Digital strategy and drive the end-to-end strategic planning process, while ensuring alignment to our global ambitions. 

If you’re an experienced Strategy Manager, with exceptional presentation skills, that knows how to simplify complex strategies and can synthesize that to a particular audience or stakeholder, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you 

This is a 12-month, fixed term position that can be based in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, or Adelaide. You can enjoy the comfort of working from home, or from one of our head offices in any of these locations. 

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have:

  • 7+ years of extensive, demonstrated experience in developing and driving strategic change, influencing diverse stakeholders, and bringing-in and applying new thinking.
  • A bachelor level business or finance qualification.
  • Post graduate business qualification (e.g., MBA, CA, CPA).

How will I help? 

  • Driving the end-to-end Bupa APAC Digital strategic planning processes. 
  • Ensuring the APAC Digital strategy is aligned with global ambitions and managing the development of aligned local growth ambitions.
  • Leading the delivery of key projects relating to growth opportunities that span the core ‘business of today’ and adjacent/transformational opportunities that will build the ‘business of tomorrow’.
  • Overseeing corporate reporting as required.
  • Ensuring execution is aligned with strategic direction through collaboration with the business to influence day-to-day work.
  • Regularly collaborating with Executive and Senior Leaders to influence strategy and delivery.
  • Other responsibilities as directed by the Strategy Director, Bupa APAC and Strategy General Manager, Bupa ANZ, including writing local and global board papers, preparation of presentations for the executive team and development of materials for board strategy discussions. 
  • Aligning execution plans to strategic direction in a decentralised strategic environment.
