National Quality Governance Manager

The National Quality Manager is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety across Lumus Imaging services nationwide. This role is dedicated to developing, implementing, and maintaining a robust Quality Management System (QMS) that aligns with regulatory requirements and evidence-based industry best practices.
By leading continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards, and fostering a culture of excellence, the National Quality Manager will significantly enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve the national QMS in alignment with regulatory requirements and evidence-based industry best practice Monitor and ensure compliance with Australian healthcare regulations, standards, and accreditation requirements (., RANZCR, DIAS, ACSQHC). Liaise with regulatory bodies and support external audits and inspections. Recommend evidence-based best practice processes and systems to support accreditation and compliance processes Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance the quality and efficiency of medical imaging services. Implement and monitor quality improvement projects, including the use of data analytics to drive performance. Oversee the management and investigation of quality-related incidents, adverse events and near misses. Support senior staff in conducting risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to prevent recurrence. Prepare and present regular reports on quality performance, compliance status, and improvement initiatives to senior management. Oversee the operation and maintenance of the national document retrieval system, ensuring it is reliable, secure, and accessible. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote quality initiatives and share evidence-based best practices. Develop and support the delivery of quality-related training programs for staff across all levels.Skills & Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Quality Management, Radiology, Medical Radiation Sciences or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in a quality management role within the healthcare sector, preferably in medical imaging. In-depth knowledge of Australian healthcare regulations, standards, and accreditation processes. Proven experience in developing and implementing quality management systems. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel Excellent organisation skills and an ability to set and action prioritiesBenefits and Wellbeing
