Job Title: National Quality Governance Manager

Healius is seeking a highly skilled and experienced National Quality Governance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety across our medical imaging services nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS) that aligns with regulatory requirements and evidence-based industry best practices.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with Australian healthcare regulations, standards, and accreditation requirements.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and support external audits and inspections.
  • Recommend evidence-based best practice processes and systems to support accreditation and compliance processes.
  • Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance the quality and efficiency of medical imaging services.
  • Implement and monitor quality improvement projects, including the use of data analytics to drive performance.
  • Oversee the management and investigation of quality-related incidents, adverse events, and near misses.
  • Support senior staff in conducting risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to prevent recurrence.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on quality performance, compliance status, and improvement initiatives to senior management.
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of the national document retrieval system, ensuring it is reliable, secure, and accessible.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote quality initiatives and share evidence-based best practices.
  • Develop and support the delivery of quality-related training programs for staff across all levels.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Quality Management, Radiology, Medical Radiation Sciences, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a quality management role within the healthcare sector, preferably in medical imaging.
  • In-depth knowledge of Australian healthcare regulations, standards, and accreditation processes.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing quality management systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Excellent organization skills and an ability to set and action priorities.
