Job Description

The role of the Mental Health Educator will play a crucial part is collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and key project stakeholders to establish a Mental Health Framework for patients. The stand up of this service will require Mental Health SME input into all aspects of developing a Primary Health Mental health service including but not limited to eMRS workflows, training and education, policies and procedures and clinical treatment pathways. The role will additionally be supporting a setup of a Virtual Care Centre clinical operations department.  


Qualifications

To be considered: 

  • Bachelor of Nursing with post-graduate qualifications in Mental Health Nursing   
  • Current unconditional AHPRA registration  
  • Min 5 years of clinical experience working in Mental health preferably in a forensic setting   
  • Strong understanding of mental health assessment tools, diagnostic criteria, and evidence-based treatment modalities.  
  • Experience with electronic medical record systems, preferably in a healthcare setting.  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.  
  • Demonstrated ability to write clinical policies and procedures
