What you will do
UBI is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and driven individual to join our team at the Corporate HQ in Rowville (Victoria) as the IT Support Officer, reporting to the Senior Systems Administrator.
In a supportive technical role, you will be responsible for supporting various technology platforms (inc Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as our ERP) and tools provided to staff as well as general desktop support services.
Requirements
Who you are
We are looking for a proactive candidate who is tertiary-qualified in an IT (or related) field with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar L1/L2 support role. This role is primary liaison with our outsourced ERP service provider.
The role will perform (but not limited to) the following activities:
- manage and execute service requests logged via IT helpdesk
- maintains all ERP manufacturing specifications, BOMs, routings, inventory items, vendor details to the required levels of accuracy and traceability
- Ensure that new and existing processes within ERP adhere to UBS quality manual and FDA, ISO13485 and ISO9001 requirements, i.e. execute functional testing and participate in cyclical certification audits.
- maintains software license register and required renewals
- assist in developing automation (where possible) in ERP
- identify, investigate and resolve incidents/problems with ERP system software and interfaces (with other applications) to take remedial action where necessary
- assist in infrastructure and software upgrade projects when required
- look to continuously improve system security and efficiency, utilising guidelines such as GAMP 5 and ITIL.
You are a self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively – bringing knowledge and skills such as:-
- Microsoft and ITIL certifications are desirable, but not essential.
- Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, inc. SharePoint.
- Experience in providing L1 assistance in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is essential: in a manufacturing environment, including all modules such as purchase, warehouse, manufacturing, sales & marketing and financial management.
- Working knowledge of network topologies, configuration and hardware
- Experience supporting other business applications would be well regarded, e.g. HubSpot, Continia (expense platform).
- Typical experiences in Windows O/S, FTP, TCP/IP, DNS, server backup/recovery, active directory, group policy, VoIP
