MARS Recruitment are proud to be partneting with an ASX listed Manufacturing business who are looking to bring on an experienced Corporate Tax Accountant to join their high perfoiminh and growing finance team.

The Corporate Tax Accountant will report into the Tax Manager and work closely with C-Suite Individuals in the organisation across all Tax matters for the wider group. The chosen candidate will be part of an experienced Tax team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Tax Manager and C- Suite Individuals daily across all Tax matters for the group
  • Australian Tax compliance including Income Tax, GST and FBT
  • Assisting with the Tax Strategy and Governance for the global Group
  • Assist the Tax Manager with Return preparation, monthly BAS and annual FBT
  • Assist with Half yearly provision calculations and providing Tax advice to internal stakeholders

Our client is after getting a candidate that is a self starter and is keen to grow their career in a supportive environment.

What they are looking for:

  • Tertiary qualification in Commerce/Business, with a major in Accounting/Finance.
  • CA/CPA qualification preferred
  • A minimum of 2-5 years' experience in corporate tax.
  • Ability to interpret and apply Australian tax legislation.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
