About the Opportunity

As a Senior Business Analyst (BA) within the Finance Reporting Squad, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the delivery of actionable trading & financial performance intelligence that answers both the 'what' and 'why', and increases speed to action for future planning & forecasting.

You will collaborate with stakeholders from various departments, including senior stakeholders from different tribes and/or finance, accounting, IT to understand their reporting requirements, analyze data, and identify process improvements.Your experience in business analysis, particularly in an agile delivery environment, combined with your knowledge of data and analytics will enable you to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. 

Your main objective is to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of financial reporting, particularly in situations involving data transformation. 

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior BA with a passion for business analysis to join the Finance Reporting Squad within Endeavour's 'Advanced Analytics tribe.

A day in the life of a Business Analyst

Work with business stakeholders to understand problems and opportunities; impacts and outcomes Evaluate, analyse, and communicate business requirements on a continuing basis with clear documentation of current state and future state (optimised) business processes Assist the Product Manager and Delivery Lead with the build and formulation of the Squad Backlog Create and refine epics and stories aligned to customer and business problems Keeping the stories within the backlog up to date and as the detail expands and evolves Engagement with Subject Matter Experts and other Tribes/Squads who can support the Squad during solution delivery and facilitation of their involvement Liaising with the team to ensure they have access to the right information from the customer and stakeholders at the right time, in order to assist the development of the solution and know that it will achieve the outcome especially with the data transformation challenges. Provide ongoing support to end-users and ensure that solutions are operating efficiently and effectively.


What you’ll need to succeed

Have over 6+ years of business analysis experience well regarded if within the finance or accounting domain Proficiency in data analysis and manipulation using tools like Google sheet, SQL, or Data visualisation software Familiarity with reporting tools and platforms (e.g., Tableau) Nice to have understanding of financial reporting concepts, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements Be somebody to ask WHY/HOW this is going to improve customer experience to help stakeholders drive product initiatives Excellent collaboration skills with an ability to see past problems to solutions  Strong ability to present complex information in an easy-to-understand manner  Strong verbal communication and facilitation skills  Solid experience producing effective user stories and acceptance criteria  Analytical mindset capable of breaking complex problems into smaller pieces Having a strong alignment with an agile mindset. Enthusiastic and positive team member with a self-directed and self-motivated attitude Excellent verbal and written communication and influencing skills Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills  Capable of owning strategic business analysis responsibilities Ability to see the big picture Mentor associate BAs and guide them in their pathways to become Business Analysts
