About the role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this is a pivotal role managing a diverse range of bookkeeping, payroll, reporting and compliance activities.

About You

This opportunity would suit an individual with extensive bookkeeping and payroll experience in a similar role within a not-for-profit organisation. You will have excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Your attention to detail and proactive approach in driving innovation and improvements will be the key to your success in this role.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Masters/Bachelor Degree in Accounting/or Diploma in Accounting.
  • Minimum 6+ years’ experience in Payroll in the NFP Sector
  • Minimum 6+ years’ experience in Accounts in the NFP Sector
  • Proficiency in end-to-end payroll and accounts processing
  • Knowledge of SCHADS Award, Acts, and compliance regulations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of Xero (essential) and Employment Hero Payroll (preferred)
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience with a Client Management System in a service-based organisation or ability to learn
