About the role
Are you an experienced automotive professional looking to transition from hands-on work to a role that leverages your expertise in a new way? Join our team as a Vehicle Inspector and take your career off the tools to start a new chapter in your life

The purpose of this role is by inspecting vehicles in accordance with relevant inspection criteria. You will be responsible for providing attention to detail with the highest level of accuracy, care and quality service to our customers.

  • Accurately book in passenger and commercial consigned stock in preparation for sale.
  • Complete end of lease vehicle inspections as per customer specific standards.
  • Liaise with key operations personnel to ensure the accurate processing of customers vehicles.
  • Carry out off site inspection as required.
  • Taking photographs of vehicles & labeling vehicles.
  • Driving vehicles across the yard when required.
  • Assisting other team members across our operations team when needed.

Safety is at the forefront of everything we do and to be employed in this role, you'll need to clear a pre-employment medical, which includes a fitness assessment and a drug and alcohol test.

About you

  • Experience as a Panel Beater, Spray Painter or Mechanic
  • Exposure to working in the automotive industry
  • Customer service experience
  • Administrative skills.
  • Good decision making skills
