Vehicle Inspector

My client has experienced immense growth and has recently moved into new, larger premises, in Laverton North. To keep up with demand they are now looking to employ a vehicle inspector to join the team.
The main focus of this role is to inspect newly acquired vehicles for defects, logging them in the client app, and handing the vehicles to the workshop to recondition.
Main duties will include:
- Inspect new acquired used vehicles on a daily basis
- Compare condition of the vehicle to the company reconditioning standards
- Identify actions required
- Interact with the in-house developed app to capture data and generate work orders
- Drive cars between locations
- Inspect work completed to ensure all work was completed
- Work closely with the Inspections Lead and Head of Refurbishment.
Requirements of the role:
- A current manual drivers licence
- Be able to work autonomously
- Have a background in either mechanical or paint and panel
- Have strong attention to detail
- A basic understanding of excel and be experienced in using apps on Apple devices.
- Complete a police clearance
- Have full Australian working rights
This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday, with 3pm finish times. You will be rewarded with a good remuneration package, with base salary, sign on bonus, monthly phone allowance and an annual bonus on offer.
