Position Summary

The CFO Advisory practice at RSM consults with finance leaders on a broad range of financial accounting and reporting matters. As a Senior within the practice you will be responsible for delivering technical accounting solutions to clients across IFRS and other accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards; Project managing timing of when financial statements need to be completed, including ensuring managing flow of information to meet deadlines; Identify and address technical accounting and financial reporting issues; Ensures completion of each assignment to a high-quality standard, within budget and on or before deadlines; Working and liasing with the audit team should we be the auditors for the respective client; Working with manager around timelines for each engagement and appropriate communication to client and/or audit team on timelines; Preparation of technical position papers Assisting clients to ensure audit readiness

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Essential

Business / Commerce degree with Accounting Major Completed CA or equivalent

DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES:

Essential

3-4 years’ experience of financial statement preparation / external audit experience  Detailed working knowledge and application of IFRS / Australian Accounting Standards Strong communication skills Strong attention to detail Strong prioritising skills Demonstrate problem solving and decision making skills Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
