The opportunity:

Caroline Chisholm College is seeking a skilled and passionate TAS Teacher preferably with Primary Industries and Agriculture experience. This position is a 2pt Leader of TAS role

About you:

To be successful in this highly rewarding role you will demonstrate alignment to the strategic vision of Caroline Chisholm College.  The successful applicant should have:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • An extensive knowledge of the TAS  syllabus KLA Years 7-12, along with best practice programming and assessing.

  • Current knowledge of best practice teaching, learning and assessing to ensure strong student learning outcomes.

  • An ability to differentiate learning to cater for a wide range of student learning needs.

  • A capacity to lead a high functioning team that shares a vision for contemporary learning reflecting the College and CSPD Strategy for Learning.

  • A capacity to contribute to leadership forums and the strategic vision of the college that empowers students to strive to achieve personal excellence.

  • A passion for STEM education and establishing partnerships with our KLA’s and external stakeholders to maximise learning experiences in an all girls context.

  • An ability to analyse learning data and collaborate with KLA peers to develop effective  improvement plans.

  • An ability to engage and lead in professional learning in TAS and whole school activities for learning improvement.

  • An ability to analyse learning performance data and plan effective teaching, learning and assessing improve learning results.

  • An ability to work innovatively and creatively with TAS staff and students to lead and inspire a culture of excellence.
