The Purpose:

This role will sit within an agile squad focused on working with ConnectID customers such as relying parties and other partners. Technical Sales Specialist will drive and support the elaboration of opportunities identified by the commercial team by documentation of customer requirements, solution design, user experience, and implementation. Technical Sales Specialist will work closely with both ConnectID and customer technical teams to facilitate onboarding organisations onto the ConnectID platform, as well as assisting with testing and certification activities.  

You will be responsible for:

  • Facilitate discussions with customers to understand and document their needs 
  • Work with customers to guide them throughout the onboarding and integration phase 
  • Assist customers in designing an operational & technical implementation plans 
  • Work in close collaboration with agile squad members and customer team members to ensure the successful onboarding of organizations onto the ConnectID platform.  
  • Respond to technical inquiries and assist commercial team in crafting proposals  
  • Undertake other duties as directed by the ConnectID Leadership Team. 

The skills & knowledge you need to have:

  • Relevant tertiary education in Engineering, Business or Science. 
  • Three plus years in a relevant customer-facing role 
  • Interest in identity, financial or payment environment  
  • Ability to understand the technical aspects of ConnectID products and effectively communicate their value to customers 
  • Experience in analysis of business solutions and requirement gathering. 
  • Understanding of business workflow concepts and processes with a particular emphasis upon customer experience 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address customer challenges and provide effective solutions. 
  • Ability to form strong business relationships with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
